CRAG Annual Membership

CRAG have introduced an annual membership fee of £5 which started on June 1st 2009.

It isn't a huge amount but we have had to introduce the fee to cover admin costs such as the web hosting and BHS insurance for rides out etc. We are have also been actively trying to raise funds by doing car boot sales and any ideas for future fundraising and sponsorship will be appreciated!

Our membership is open to everyone - whether you are a happy hacker, crazy about horses, an avid countryside enthusiast or someone with just an interest in what we are doing and keen to help us. We would love to have you on board! Please join and come along to the meetings, picnics and rides - and have a natter on the forum!

Membership is just £5 per individual.

Please click on the link below to download a membership form...

If you would prefer a membership form to be posted to you, please contact us and leave your details and we will send a form out to you.

Sibster tracks...

CRAG attended the Forestry Commissions Open Meeting in Halkirk a couple of months ago and we discussed possible new tracks to go on their recently purchased land near Sibster. The Forestry Commission will be planting trees early next year on the land and welcomed any ideas for the new tracks.

CRAG have put forward a plan to the Forestry Commission with a number of possible routes on it - circular short routes and longer figure of eight routes with a large parking area and picnic benches etc. We will see what happens next.

This is very exciting as it will be a new area for people to explore on horseback and open up more safe off-road riding for the Halkirk area.

The land area is outlined on the map below (not to scale and for indicative purposes only).
